KAABA MINE EXPLORATION

ANNOUNCING NARROW VEIN MINING SCHOOL

This training is unique because it takes place inside a real historic narrow-vein gold mine rather than a classroom or simulated environment. Trainees gain genuine underground experience in actual workings, fulfilling the required mine-site hours of MSHA new miner training while learning the specific techniques and hazards of narrow, steeply dipping hard-rock veins—selective stoping methods, dilution control, jackleg drilling in tight spaces, ground support adapted to irregular walls, and ventilation in small openings. The ongoing rehabilitation of the mine itself becomes part of the curriculum, allowing participants to observe modern safety practices applied to historic ground in real time. Combined with instructors who bring decades of hands-on mining safety management, MSHA compliance experience, and technical rescue expertise, the program delivers practical competence rather than just regulatory certificates. Modular specialized courses can be stacked with core MSHA training over flexible schedules, producing miners who understand both the rules and the realities of working narrow-vein hard rock safely and effectively.
MSHA Training Part 48 and Part 46
We offer complete MSHA Part 48 training, including 40-hour underground new miner, 24-hour surface new miner, and 8-hour annual refresher courses. All training is delivered by experienced instructors with the required mine-site portions conducted in a real historic narrow-vein gold mine, giving participants authentic underground experience rather than simulated conditions.
